Hydro jetting is a very effective method used for drain cleaning that promises much longer results compared to the Snaking method. The Hydro Jetter itself is a large tank of water that is highly pressurized up to 3500 PSI by a machine attached to it. A special high pressure hose with a high pressure nozzle is attached to the hydro jet water tank and it is operated by a trained specialist from Pipe Bros.
Hydro jetting is a procedure that involves a hose being fed through a clean out (an accessible opening in every plumbing system that allows plumbers to easily access and unclog drains) and blasting up to 3500 PSI of highly pressurized water into the insides of the pipe. This amount of pressure coming through the hose is powerful enough to cut through any debris, roots, or anything else that can be standing in the way of freely flowing water in the pipe. The water scrapes and cleans around the walls and insides of the pipe and all the debris safely travels downstream through the plumbing system and is carried away.
When the Snaking method is not effective Hydro Jetting can be used to clear sewer lines of stubborn roots that have found their way in to pipes. Hydro Jetting a sewer line will not only get rid of stubborn roots or debris but will also remove built up mineral deposits. Please keep in mind that although Hydro Jetting can clear lines of roots, it may not be a permanent solution to stubborn roots that may find their way into drains again and again.
